Last year, the German Longdrive Championship celebrated a successful debut, with a series of eight events, including a PRESEASON, REGULAR SEASON, and the GRAND FINAL. The GLDC is the only tournament in Germany that is officially recognized by the World Long Drive Association. For the first time, in 2019, there were two spots for the World Long Drive Championship available for the best contestants. This made the GLDC a very attractive event for long hitters throughout Europe.
On the occasion of the Final Four of the KRAMSKI Deutschen Golf Liga presented by Audi the best long hitters in the women’s and men’s divisions have been determined. James Tait prevailed against the competition with a driving distance of 394 yards and gained the ticket for the World Long Drive Championship.
Helen Tamy Kreuzer was the winner in the women’s division, her driving distance was 283 yards.
